The Local – Minneapolis offers several timeless, elegant event spaces as well as semi-private sections of the pub for when you still want to be in the middle of the action.

The Hollow

Capacity: 60 seated OR 60-75 mostly standing

The Hollow is a must-see space that recalls old-world taverns, complete with flickeringcandlelight, leather benches, and wooden accents. The Hollow can accommodate anything from a classy cocktail party to an unforgettable groom’s dinner or holiday banquet.

The Hollow offers some sound and AV capabilities allowing you to create a personalized playlist with your iPod, or a slideshow presentation.

The Choir

Capacity: 40-50 mostly standing (Lounge – No Dining Tables) 

The Choir is a lounge space that works well for cocktail & appetizer receptions. Home to high-tops, leather sofas and armchairs, plus a drinking ledge with stools that looks out over the entire pub. The Choir is a casual, open-air mezzanine with a relaxed atmosphere and has become the most popular space at the Local for events.

The Sanctuary

Capacity: 24 seated OR 30 standing 

The Sanctuary’s hand-carved wooden panels and intricately engraved glass separate this space from the rest of the pub, in an area that is not so out of the way that it misses all the action, but provides an exclusive space, just for you and your guests. It’s casual & elegant, perfect for small informal corporate mixers or smaller group dinners.

The Boardroom

Capacity: 12 seated

The Local Minneapolis has a great private room for smaller parties: The Boardroom.  This room boasts an extra-large boardroom-style table, perfect for a small special occasion, business lunch, or fantasy football draft.  The Boardroom features a custom-built console table along with a picture window to allow the natural sunlight to pour in.  You are welcome to connect to your own private flat-screen TV for a presentation or to watch your favorite team with your close friends.

Wilde’s Corner

Capacity: 24 seated (6 high-tops, each seating 4 people); 30-35 mostly standing 

Wilde’s Corner is a large section of high-tops tucked into a corner section of the main pub area. This is a great area for a group that is looking to host a more casual affair, while still feeling a part of the main pub atmosphere.

Full/Partial Buy Out

Our private space holds a maximum capacity of 75-80, however, we do have a great option for larger groups to consider partial buyouts of multiple spaces.

The pub is naturally separated by large wood finishes and a bar that runs down the center of our establishment. These woodworking’s provide a natural barrier of privacy for groups to consider a buy-out option.
