DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]Kieran’s Irish Pub was the home for the SlamMN poetry slam and weekly open mic for over 20 years. For one night only\, veteran Slam Master Cynthia French returns to Minneapolis to bring together a night of poetry and storytelling celebrating the legacy and talents of some of the Twin Cities’ most amazing performers. \nJoining the stage will be two of the people that started the poetry slam at Kieran’s and brought the National Poetry Slam to Minneapolis: Diego Vasquez\, Jr.\, and Kieran Folliard\, the original owner of the pub. Throughout the evening’s performance\, we will hear performances and stories from past organizers\, performers\, and members of SlamMN poetry slam teams who went on to compete in national competitions. Performers include Bao Phi\, Thadra Sherican\, Shane Hawley\, Toussaint Morrison\, Michael Shaeffer\, Khary Jackson\, Ezra Stead\, and a few surprise guests along the way! \nTable reservations are limited.
